Creating Your Account

Visit landing.php or click "Try Free" button

In the signup modal, enter your details:
  • Name: Your full name
  • Email: Valid email address (you'll verify this)
  • Password: At least 8 characters, mix of letters and numbers

We'll send you a verification email. Look for it in your inbox (or spam folder)

Click the link in the email to verify your account. You'll be automatically logged in

4. Creating Your First Council

A "council" is when you ask the 5 AI advisors for their insights on a question or scenario.

Click "Login" or go directly to the app dashboard

In the "Your Question" field, type what you want advice on. Be specific!

Downgrading Your Plan

You can downgrade anytime. You'll keep access to the upgraded features until your billing cycle ends, then switch to the lower plan.

❓ When Does Your Billing Cycle Reset?
On the same date each month as when you subscribed. For example:
• If you upgrade on April 10 → billing cycles on the 10th each month
• If you've used all 50 monthly councils → come back next month for a fresh quota

❓ I didn't receive the verification email
Solutions to try:
1. Check your spam/junk folder
2. Wait 5 minutes (emails can be slow)
3. Resend verification email from dashboard
4. Contact support: support@board-ai-decision.com
❓ I keep getting "Invalid credentials" when logging in
Check these:
1. Make sure CAPS LOCK is off
2. Verify you're using the correct email
3. If you forgot password, use "Forgot Password?" link
4. After 5 failed attempts, account locks for security (try again in 15 min)
❓ I've used all my monthly councils, what now?
You have options:
1. Wait until next month for fresh quota
2. Upgrade to Pro (50/month) or Business (unlimited)
3. Delete old councils from history (frees up space)
❓ The BOD System is taking too long to process
Normal timeframe: 30-60 seconds
If it takes longer:
1. Check your internet connection
2. Refresh the page (you won't lose progress)
3. Try again with a shorter question (if you hit character limit)
4. Contact support if still stuck after 5 minutes
❓ I want to delete my account
Account deletion:
1. Go to Dashboard
2. Click "Delete Account" in Account Management section
3. Confirm (this cannot be undone)
4. Your data will be permanently deleted after 30 days
❓ My document won't upload
File requirements:
• Supported formats: PDF, DOCX only
• Max file size: 5MB
• Max content: 40,000 characters
Try: PDF if DOCX fails, compress file, or paste text instead

Q: Are the AI recommendations professional business advice?
No. Our advisors provide informed perspectives, but are NOT professional accountants, lawyers, or consultants. Always validate important decisions with qualified professionals.
Q: How is my data protected?
We use:
• SSL/TLS encryption (data in transit)
• Bcrypt password hashing (never stored in plaintext)
• Secure database with access controls
• Read our Privacy Policy for details
Q: Can I export or download my councils?
You can view and read all your past councils on the Dashboard. Export/download feature coming in a future update.
Q: What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your account and BOD System history are retained. You can still view them. If you completely delete your account, all data is removed after 30 days.
Q: Can I use this for my team or company?
Currently, each person needs their own account. Team collaboration features are coming in our Business plan (update in Q3 2026).
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Invoicing and other methods available for Business plan customers.
Q: Do you offer refunds?
No refunds for partial months. You can cancel anytime to stop future charges. Read our Terms of Service for details.
